With over 20 years of experience, I help companies draw up financial plans, such as investment, operating and liquidity budgets. My career started at Essent, where I worked as a Management Trainee on marketing and finance projects. Later, as a Margin Analyst and Customer Intelligence Analyst, I optimized business processes and developed customer segmentations.
At Dixons I led projects to improve productivity in 160 stores and develop strategic reporting. Since 2015 I have been working at Bol.com, where I have further optimized complex financial processes as Senior Business Controller and Manager Operations & Cost Control.
My education in business economics and Registered Controller, combined with more than two decades of experience, give me the tools to effectively support entrepreneurs. Together with Rinze, I graduated on the subject of budgeting during the training to Registered Controller, a subject that is close to our hearts.
My goal is to make complex financial issues simple and accessible, so that entrepreneurs can confidently make decisions that drive growth and profitability.

My strength lies in creating overview and insight. During my career I have worked at large and small organizations, including Volker Wessels Telecom, Stork Technical Services, and my current part-time position as division controller at the listed Renewi.
In addition, I have broadened my horizons with advisory roles for various entrepreneurs in sectors such as childcare, e-commerce and painting. I have also been involved as treasurer in foundations and other organizations, such as Eye for Zambia.
My education in business economics, Registered Controller, and a master in Strategic Management form a solid foundation. During the training to Registered Controller, I graduated together with Rob on the subject of budgeting, a theme that we both worked out with great enthusiasm.
I combine strategic insights – Why do we do what we do and how do we achieve it? – with practical tools, such as monitoring strategic KPIs and financial analyses.
This combination enables me to support entrepreneurs in making well-considered choices and help them achieve their financial goals.
